Smart Search
Actonomy's Smart Search is your solution to cumbersome search queries. To give a concrete example: if you are looking for a Java Developer in London, you can either type in: "Java Developer" AND "London", not even knowing if this will lead to good results.
Or you can just type in "Java Developer London", thus avoiding complex and less transparent Boolean searches since Actonomy will analyse your query as follows:
• identify ‘java developer’ as a main jobtitle or indication of experience;
• identify ‘java’ as preferred skill or experience;
• identify that candidates preferably live in ‘London’
With this information, Actonomy will present you with candidates that are ranked:
• ‘Java developers’ living in ‘London’ on top of your list;
• ‘Java developers’ living close to ‘London’ slightly lower in the list of results;
• followed by people with ‘Java’ experience and living in ‘London’ or close to ‘London’. Preferably other ‘’software developers’, provided they have ‘java’ experience.
The result: the human way of analysing results or browsing through relevant candidates. A single query that will give you the results you need. No more re-querying, no more waste of time!
How does it work?
The Actonomy knowledge base knows how recruiters search. It analyses the criteria given and splits it in relevant words or concepts. These are used to execute several actions in the background, just as a recruiter would do with standard search solutions.
All this is done in the background. The system will provide you with meaningful results much faster than you could yourself.
Finally, a solution that makes Boolean searches obsolete!
