Find better and more matches with superior jobmatching technology from Actonomy

The three magazines of Roularta Local Media – Deze week, De Zondag and Steps – have a job section, called ‘Streekpersoneel’. The biggest job section in regional print, is also published online: Regiotalent.be, aiming at both candidates and employers.

For Regiotalent.be to be state-of-the-art, Roularta Media Group is using Actonomy’s searching and matching technology. Broes Sanders, product manager online: ‘We were looking for clever technology to guide search and filtering in the right direction. The technology of xMP does exactly that. The search function works smartly, the search query runs very smoothly while the user receives only relevant search results. You get what you ask for.’

Sanders is happy about the cooperation with Actonomy:

‘If optimizations are needed, they are done. If it appears that the search results are no longer as relevant as before, adjustments will be made.’

But Roularta Local Media is even going one step further, as it is launching a new platform in September 2019. ‘We will use Actonomy’s matching technology to match candidates with suitable jobs based on their hard skills. By screening their CV, we can tell which job will suit them.’ Roularta will also use the services of CompanyMatch, a company with which Actonomy is now working together. ‘We are going a step further by also taking into account the corporate culture. In this way, we propose a complete match. The candidate not only gets a job tailored to his profile and qualifications but also to his culture and values. We will be the first job site that integrates both the hard skills of the candidate and the corporate culture.’
