20 years ago, when we chose the name Actonomy, it was inspired by a simple idea: “to act autonomously.”
Even back then, we believed technology shouldn’t just help people search or analyze information. It should be able to act on it — continuously, intelligently and increasingly autonomously.
Today we call that AI automation or AI agents.
For us, it feels less like a new direction and more like the continuation of an idea that was already embedded in our name 20 years ago.
